Fall Away

I wrote this poem contemplating on what takes places while I meditate. It's an approximation of the experience.

Perhaps, you can relate.

Perhaps, not.

Either way, do enjoy.

Legs
crossing,
Toes
curling.

Mind purring,
No mind..
No mind..
It is happening.

Time arrives,
Mind returns,
Mechanical contemplation,
Readies the body
for direction.

I fall from me,
I fall away,
Dropping into
the sky,
Sailing away...
Conscious forgetting,
Surrenders the space,
Engulfed within
ideas of I
dissipate...

Time comes,
Mind present,
Sensations surface,
I pour into
myself all over again

Hiya, citizens of the giant universe. What's up? This poem came into being while I reflected on my own personal meditation experience.

In other news, my cat is recovering and had gone on a birdie hunt a couple of times and succeeded. How did I know? I saw the aftermath. In the form of multicolored feathers and something else. I have to water the porch floors again.

Rearranged scattered dried leaves and dusts while getting my evening sun today. Is that even news? Well, I am reporting it anyway. And my eyeballs are parched. I need to get myself into eyeball rehab quick.

What have you been up to there? Tell me mundane things about your day. And please say you love my poem. Nah, be honest. Did you truly relate or felt woozy instead? Share away, star-stuff!

Here's a quote by Eckhart Tolle to end this entry:

“Words reduce reality to something the human mind can grasp, which isn’t very much.”
