Cold cider helps you sleep + a poem or something

The time I try to write something when I direly need to rest.

I'm attempting to write something while half of me is ready for sleep. The sun was extra potent today. It was really something. Coupled with a stomach filled with food, I'm extremely ready to sleep. But, the cat that looks like Aiden but isn't Aiden is in the house and he's also very sleepy. For the very first time, the cat, that I call Murphy is sprawled where Aiden used to rest and he's gone to lala land because he finally felt comfy enough to do so after he ate and drank like a furry dino.

Before I hit the hay, I will confess that it's a must to get myself to cool down with a bath but that is not happening yet. The way the heat is contained in the house is something else. A lot of things are something else. Like how the blue skies get extra blue and the heat extra heaty. Like how I ramble and lose the plot. I just downed apple cider vinegar diluted in cold water. It's time to sleep, my brain say, it is!

With the middle years coming on so strong, I do love anything that will aid in a me sustaining a good deep sleep and to my pleasant surprise, apple cider vinegar has been helpful. I didn't know that it does what it does until finding it out this year. It holds my sleep tightly down. So I can dwell a little bit longer in the deep sleep realm.

Lately, I've stumbled into the late 90s to early 2000s music thanks to a DVD that was in the old DVD player from my brother's ancient music list. It's got songs from The Used, Weezer, The Ataris & The All-American Rejects and even Enrique Iglesias. Songs of that era totally hit different. And then, there's Dishwalla. I still am obsessed with Every Little Thing!

A Poem or Something

I am trying to write something to write something

I am feeling out feelings that can make sense out of things

I don't know if it's the point to get to a point

I certainly believe that the points we reach here are ultimately for transcendence

I am stickily attached yet in moments I forget, eventually, I am not

It's a hectic movement of coming to and going of

and in between these two actions, a current of life in the living

a flowing in the flow.

a happening that's happened.
