You, yes you right there. You're alright you know. The world spins, you're here, you're breathing. What else do you need? Tell me. Even if you've got the stuff you need, then what. What then. There's always going to be something else. You do know this, I'm sure. But you're still down, down. And I'm still looking at you.
You want to drop this, all of this. Go to a better place. Are you sure there is such a place. Tell me the name of that place. I want to go there with you. Now you laugh, but the laughter doesn't last. It is never made to last.
You say, why do it then. I say, well, do you need it to be rock permanent in order for you to do whatever it is that needs to be done joyously?
You roll your eyes. You say I'm being smart. I'd say I kind of knew that I am gifted that way but of course I should not spoil your little sarcasm. I get it, I say. Maybe I don't get it. I pretend that I know what I'm talking about by filling in the gaps for you.
She says don't you ever get bored, of all of this. It's the same freaking thing every single bloody day. I'd say I am a vampire, just for kicks but I get that she will not find it even the least amusing. Okay senorita I get freaking bored too!
That's why I go to bed, I sleep. I don't want to think about all this, at all.
I want to see Daman Salvatore in my dreams. I think you should do the same.
She looks at me. I roll my eyes. We laugh. It never last. It's not made to last.
