Gift Of Gratitude

The time I sprinkled some thank yous like confetti!

Hi friends, it's the season of giving thanks! And I'm here to shower the space and each one of you who come to read my appreciation. I don't know what to post today because I feel like a lazy cat in a box on an endless drizzy day. But then, I realize I could make this post a one huge thank YOU note. So, here it is.

I have so many things to be thankful about and Life, thank you for every single thing that I have been blessed with that I know of and those I may have missed given the nature of my limited perspective.

For every chance to begin again, to treat every day as a gift not to be missed, I wake up whether it is sunny or rainy outside or within, I give myself freely to the dance that is choreographed by Life. Thank you for showing me through many other spirits that life is always there to guide me through as I remain open to it.

For the readers of this space who have left visible and invisible thoughts, spending your precious time and energy to visit here - I send you my heartiest gratitude.

I hope in your dwelling here you have found something in these words to accompany you through your life's journey.

As for the countless cats I follow on Instagram and other wild animals, including birds, various big cats, orang utans and fluffy doggies, I thank the account handlers for letting me peek into the wonderful world of nature's creatures.

Even though my outfit posts are random, I want to say thank you to the girls and women who have taken the time to drop by and comment on them with enthusiasm. I love the community of fashion bloggers that I get to form virtual relationships with because isn't it awesome to play dress-up, post it up and get to know amazing people at the same time?

As an introvert, I really appreciate that I get to do this while being completely relaxed behind the screen wearing my resting bawse face and inappropriate clothing unsuitable for socializing that takes place in public. Thank you Internet for letting me be a selective social butterfly. Perhaps a butterfly is too much, remove the butter. A fly is apt. The small-ish kind. A drosophila. Yes, thank you Science classes.

Here's a quote to end this entry:

“As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them." -- John F. Kennedy
