The time I wear a plaid in shades of green and carry a pink umbrella for a breezy day stroll.

Strolling on a blue-sky day when it's breezy out is quite a refreshing treat and can't be compared to when it's humid or all out drizzling. I have completely drenched a pair of sneakers during an evening pour and have now planned to get the shoes washed when there will be continuous sun. Nothing makes a shoe quite stale and unappealing when there's moisture stuck in it! It's an art truly, to be able to wash a pair of sneakers. You can't just wash them willy nilly and then it's pouring and humid at the same time. Alas, the shoes are resting in my room with baking soda resting inside them. LOL. Luckily I have some other spare walking shoes to walk besides my fav blue pair that's on vacation now. Walking on a humid day brings a different level of perspiration into the equation. It's easy to find oneself quite drenched from the act of sweating and finding it hard to get comfy again. I usually run into a chilled environment. I don't know why I am still yapping about this topic but I guess, it's quite a fav topic of mine, after all these years. 

Anyway, let me show you what I was wearing this one fine evening when I went out for a stroll at the local park. I personally think it's a really cute ootd because I finally found my old black tank top to pair with the green plaid pants and I quite like the vibe it's got going on with the pink umbrella that my sis recently got me. It takes a while for me to warm up to the mechanism of this umbrella as it's way clunkier than my old grey one. A classic umbrella is still the best one. This one is wrapped up in a not cylindrical shape and the button is far from seamless. But I like the black-out feature that really aids in keeping me cool when it gets suddenly bitingly hot out. There's that tango in between a torrential pour, high humidity and a blindingly hot weather that is in season for May in tropical Malaysia that an umbrella is a practical must-have.

Outfit deets: Sunnies in brown because I love looking through sepia-colored lens / heart-shaped hoop earrings / black cotton tank top / pink umbrella / grey waist bag / cotton green plaid pants / off white walking shoes (because it will never stay white for long lol)
