The time a carrot and a cactus converse.

Hi friends, how are you all doing in the new year?

I've been quite well after getting a lot of sun, breeze and the whole tropical summer balminess. This, I anticipated after a spell of soggy season. The kind that goes on and on until you feel like you can't bare to let your hair air-dry anymore. Unless a soggy scalp is the point.


Anyway, the point of this post is to share with you something of a short convo between two modern vegetables. I'm not sure if a cactus falls under a vege category technically but it's not meant to be scientifically-sound.

Plus, these two are having a chat. That's as sound as your favorite myth. These are just what my mind came up with when I thought of a banter between a carrot and a cactus.


I hope this will somewhat lighten up the mood of your day if it's been heavy so far. Or level up the brightness even more if you're practically shining from the inside. Enjoy.

You are quite orange, Mr Carrot.

What on earth are you talking about? I declare that I am vibrant red with a touch of golden mustard undertone.



Well then, I am a just little fuzzy on the outside that is all.

Fuzzy??? Those things cut me! They are abrasive and far from fuzzy.

Mr Carrot, you are as orange as a mandarin citrus MINUS the juicy well-rounded sweetness inside!



Who in their right mind would want to be mistaken as tangy?

You are a bloody wasted carrot. Just come and hug me. I actually fancy you.
