The time I share with you my experience using Natura Ekos hand cream and body lotion with castanha oil.

Today, I'm going to share with you my first time experience using the hand cream and body lotion from Natura specifically their Ekos Castanha Nourishing range. 

I received the sachet samples for the body lotion and hand cream from Natura and tried them out. Just a little background about my skincare approach: less is more. I have a super sensitive nose and my skin is like that too.

After using it for about a week, here are my thoughts:

So far, both lotions made my hands feel soft and moisturized when I used them. 

Castanha oil is extracted from Brazil nuts. It is is rich in selenium, and phytosterols, it contains 70% unsaturated fatty acids; it helps restore the skin soft, supple and velvety. ( info from ambassadedelabeaute.ch )

On the fragrant front, the perfume used in both smells kind of unisex in their scent style. I believe both genders can use it without feeling like it's too feminine/masculine. For those with sensitive noses and a preference for delicate scents, do get the samples before purchasing the full products. I was expecting a more gentle botanical scent profile from the body lotion and hand cream. 

The fragrance for me personally was a little strong and I didn't particularly care for the scent.

However, the moisturizing abilities of both creams as tested and applied on my hands were wonderful. 

A little goes a long way to soften up the skin. 

All in all, l appreciate the way both creams soften and moisture my skin. I definitely would prefer if the fragrance is more subtle, or better: made in an alternative formulation suited for fragrant sensitive skincare consumers. Some though do rave about the scent so you might as well just give the samples a try to decide for yourself.

That being said, everyone has different preferences for scents. Most importantly, both lotions are hydrating to the skin and I just love how soft my hands feel after I apply both! Optimistically, I do look forward to something that is fragrant-free from Natura in the future!
