Batik Wrap Skirt

The time I wore a batik wrap skirt casually and was joined by a stunning dog that so was not camera-shy.

Sometimes, you just want to ooze tropical forest and this was what my subconscious did.

When we had this shoot at the usual spot in our small town, there was the sweetest doggie that followed us around the second we arrived there. I felt the love from the canine and quickly, he became our spontaneous subject of interest in these pictures.

As I processed the pictures for posting, all I could feel was a ton of love from the stunning dog! He really was something else. He has this foxy appearance and I've decided to call him foxee. When a beautiful dog wants to join in the picture-taking, you let him! Hoping I'll spot him again one of these days.

About the outfit, I wore a spaghetti strap tank in forest green, Indonesian batik wrap skirt, round rattan bag and a pair of deep green sandals, borrowed from mom's stash. The other three items were all from my fashion guru sis. I decided to wear them all together in the theme of the tropical Malaysian jungle. The combination of the earthy brown and lush deep green has made me look rather foresty.

I shall humbly say that enjoy the chillax vibe of the look.

Enjoy eyeballing the pictures, especially the ones with foxee!

What do you think of the outfit? Have you fallen in love with foxee, the dog yet? Did the random mannequin in the window scare you? Share your thoughts down below, will you? I want to know everything!

As always, here's a quote by Alan Watts to end this post:

“The meaning of life is just to be alive. It is so plain and so obvious and so simple. And yet, everybody rushes around in a great panic as if it were necessary to achieve something beyond themselves.”
